The Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders (Chula Vista, CA) lacrosse tipped the visiting Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), 9-8 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Mater Dei Catholic upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Crusaders host Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Titans in a Metro Mesa outing on Monday, March 11. The Titans go into the outing with a record of 2-2. Eastlake won 17-2 in their recent non-league outing against Santana (Santee, CA)
