Louisiana High School Baseball - Ascension Catholic wallops East St. John
March 7, 2025: Reserve, LA 70084 The Ascension Catholic Bulldogs baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host East St. John Wildcats to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Edmund for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Ascension Catholic will clash with a Fighting Blue Jays team coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Northwest (Opelousas, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays record now stands at 6-7.
With the defeat, East St. John drops to 2-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 12-4. Riverside Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA)
