March 7, 2025: Ponchatoula, LA 70454 The Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA), 10-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Green Wave now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Walker for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. Ponchatoula will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-2.
With the defeat, Assumption drops to 1-14 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Thibodaux lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA)
