The Northpoint Christian Trojans baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Center Hill Mustangs to 9 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. Northpoint Christian will play a Raiders team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Hatley (Amory, MS). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Center Hill drops to 4-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to play the Commodores in a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. The Commodores go into the test with a record of 6-2. Lafayette lost 6-2 in their recent league test against Corinth (Corinth, MS)
