March 7, 2025: Sharpsburg, GA 30277 The Northgate Vikings baseball squad (Newnan, GA), was overwhelmed 15-2 in Friday's non-league contest with the host East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA)
With the triumph, East Coweta moves its record to 10-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA) to confront the Panthers in a AAAAAA Region 2 contest on Tuesday, March 11. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 5-5. Chapel Hill lost 9-4 in their recent non-league contest against Model (Rome, GA)
The Vikings now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lovejoy for a AAAAA Region 3 contest on Monday, March 10. Northgate will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Therrell (Atlanta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.
