March 7, 2025: New Iberia, LA 70563 In Friday's non-league bout, the Highland Baptist Christian Bears (New Iberia, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Elton Indians (Elton, LA), by a tally of 17-2.
Next up, the Bears encounter the Vermilion Catholic Eagles (Abbeville, LA) in a 1A District 7 bout, on Monday, March 10. Highland Baptist Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 8-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA).
