March 7, 2025: Ville Platte, LA 70586 The Episcopal Knights baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Sacred Heart Trojans to 1 in the Knights non-league win on Friday.
The Knights now hold a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Terrebonne for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Episcopal will play a Gators team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Gators record now stands at 4-9.
With the defeat, Sacred Heart drops to 7-8 on the year. The Trojans host De La Salle (New Orleans, LA) to play the Cavalier in a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. The Cavalier go into the test with a record of 8-5. De La Salle lost 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA)
