North Carolina High School Baseball - Garner loses to South Johnston
March 7, 2025: Four Oaks, NC 27524 South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Garner Trojans (Garner, NC), 12-5 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, South Johnston moves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Trojans host Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC) to battle the Spartans in a Quad County 3A match on Tuesday, March 11. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 0-4. Smithfield-Selma lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Princeton (Princeton, NC)
The Trojans now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens Drive for a non-league match on Monday, March 10. Garner will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-1.
