The Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Port Arthur Memorial Titans to 0 in the Longhorns non-league win on Friday.

The Longhorns now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Huntington for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Hamshire-Fannett will clash with a Red Devils team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Warren (Warren, TX). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-1.

With the defeat, Port Arthur Memorial drops to 1-3 on the year. The Titans host Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 5A Region III District 17 test on Monday, March 10.
