March 7, 2025: Henderson, TX 75652 The Henderson Lions baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Harleton Wildcats to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.
The Lions now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Spring Hill for a 4A Region II District 16 test on Tuesday, March 11. Henderson will play a Panthers team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
With the defeat, Harleton drops to 4-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Tatum (Tatum, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-4. Tatum won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Marshall (Marshall, TX)
