The Eagles now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Artesia for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. South El Monte will play a Pioneers team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Covina drops to 2-5 on the year. The Colts host Cajon (San Bernardino, CA) to play the Cowboys in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Cowboys go into the test with a record of 3-2.
