California High School Baseball - East Union edges Escalon

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting East Union Lancers baseball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Escalon Cougars.

The Lancers (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Laguna Creek by Woodland (Woodland, CA), 4-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Cougars play the Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) in a game, on Wednesday, March 12. Escalon will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 4-3 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA).
