New Mexico High School Softball - Highland knocked off by Albuquerque Academy
March 7, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87108 The Albuquerque Academy Chargers overwhelmed the host Highland Hornets softball squad by a count of 27-18 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Chargers meet the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 8. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 20-17 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Moriarty toppled Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM), 26-4, in a non-league challenge.
