Arkansas High School Softball - McCrory edges Cave City
March 7, 2025: McCrory, AR 72101 The McCrory Jaguars softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Cave City Cavemen to 7 in the Jaguars non-league win on Friday.
The Jaguars now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Des Arc for a 2A Region 6 battle on Monday, March 10. McCrory will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Beebe (Beebe, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Cave City moves to 2-1 on the season. The Cavemen host Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR) to confront the Tigers in a 3A Region 2 battle on Monday, March 10. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Valley Springs lost 17-5 in their recent non-league battle against Huntsville (Huntsville, AR)
