Texas High School Softball - San Saba bounces Strawn
March 7, 2025: San Saba, TX 76877 The San Saba Armadillos softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Strawn Greyhounds to 7 in the Armadillos non-league win on Friday.
The Armadillos now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harper for a non-league battle on Monday, March 10. San Saba will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 23-4 non-league win over Center Point (Center Point, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Strawn moves to 0-1 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to De Leon (De Leon, TX) to confront the Bearcats in a 2A Region II District 13 battle on Monday, March 10. The Bearcats come into the battle with a record of 4-3. De Leon won 18-16 in their recent non-league battle against Eula (Clyde, TX)
