In Saturday's non-league game, the host Loara Saxons baseball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Flintridge Prep Wolves.

The Saxons now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beckman for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 10. Loara will play a Patriots team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to La Quinta (La Quinta, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
