Mountain Range Mustangs (Westminster, CO) supporters went home thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host Frederick Golden Eagles (Frederick, CO), 9-3 in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakewood for a non-league test on Monday, March 9.

The Golden Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Thompson Valley (Loveland, CO). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Thompson Valley was overwhelmed by Mead (Longmont, CO), 10-0, in a non-league outing.
