Warren Warriors (San Antonio, TX) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX), 7-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Warren advances its record to 8-6 on the season. The Warriors host Holmes (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Huskies in a 6A Region IV District 28 match on Tuesday, March 10. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 4-9. Holmes lost 7-0 in their recent league match against Taft (San Antonio, TX)

The Owls now have a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lanier for a 5A Region IV District 27 match on Monday, March 9. Highlands will play a Voks team coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX). The Voks record now stands at 0-7.
