The Bear River Bears softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Payson Lions to 7 in the Bears non-league win on Saturday.

The Bears now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Snow Canyon for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 7. Bear River will confront a Warriors team coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Wasatch (Heber City, UT). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
