In Saturday's non-league match, the host Sanger Apaches softball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Coalinga Horned Toads.

The Apaches (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Selma (Selma, CA). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Selma defeated Sanger West (Fresno, CA), 11-4, in a non-league game.

The Horned Toads now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mission Oak for a non-league game on Saturday, March 7. Coalinga will play a Hawks squad coming off a 17-4 non-league win over Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-3.
