The Kerman Lions edged the host Hanford Bullpups softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 7. Kerman will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Scots enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA).
