California High School Volleyball - Compton Early College can't hold off Dominguez
March 8, 2022: Compton, CA 90222 In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Dominguez Dons volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix.
The Dons (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Firebaugh was edged by Paramount (Paramount, CA), 3-2, in a non-league match.
With the loss, Compton Early College drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rising phoenix host Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to battle the Wolves in a Mulholland match on Thursday, March 10. The Wolves come into the match with a record of 9-4. Wiseburn- Da Vinci lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA)
