Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Redding Christian Lions (Palo Cedro, CA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host University Prep for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 10. Mt. Shasta will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 19-4 non-league win over Enterprise (Redding, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Redding Christian falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Weed (Weed, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
