March 8, 2022: Whittier, CA 90606 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Pioneer Titans (Whittier, CA), by a margin of 17-2.
With the triumph, Schurr moves its record to 9-0 on the year. The Spartans travel to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 9. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-5. Gabrielino lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Edgewood (West Covina, CA)
In their next game, the Titans clash with the Magnolia Sentinels (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 10. Pioneer will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Sentinels come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA).
