Corunna Cavaliers (Corunna, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI), 71-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Corunna upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Hamady (Flint, MI) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, March 10. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 18-4. Hamady won 85-37 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI)
