Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Waterbury Career Academy Spartans (Waterbury, CT) and the host Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT), saw Waterbury Career Academy's basketball squad wallop Darien by a tally of 84-55.

With the victory, Waterbury Career Academy improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Killingly (Killingly, CT) to play the Redmen in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. The Redmen come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Killingly won 61-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Hall (West Hartford, CT)
