March 8, 2023: Cocoa, FL 32927 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) and the host Space Coast Vipers (Cocoa, FL), witnessed Merritt Island's softball squad tip Space Coast by a count of 13-8.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Satellite for a non-league match on Thursday, March 9.
With the loss, Space Coast moves to 3-1 on the season. The Vipers travel to Astronaut (Titusville, FL) to face the War Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 22. The War Eagles go into the match with a record of 5-4. Astronaut won 16-1 in their recent non-league match against Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach, FL)
