South Carolina High School Softball - Catawba Ridge can't get by Clover
March 8, 2023: Clover, SC 29710 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) softball team held off the visiting Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Clover moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Blue Eagles travel to Chesnee (Chesnee, SC) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 11. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 3-1. Chesnee won 5-2 in their recent non-league contest against Woodruff (Woodruff, SC)
In their next game, the Copperheads play the South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 contest, on Thursday, March 9. Catawba Ridge will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Stallions come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 18-2 non-league loss to Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC).
