The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets the visiting Westwood Panthers baseball team by a count of 7-3 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tatum for a 3A Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, March 12. Elysian Fields will face a Eagles team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-6.
