Pioneer Valley Panthers (Santa Maria, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA), 10-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pioneer Valley upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Panthers host Porterville (Porterville, CA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 9. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Porterville won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Strathmore (Strathmore, CA)

With the defeat, Hoover falls to 2-6 on the season. The Patriots host Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA) to battle the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 12. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 5-2. Sierra Pacific won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA)
