March 8, 2024: Waxhaw, NC 28173 The Marvin Ridge Mavericks baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Topsail Pirates to 4 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Friday.
The Mavericks (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Hough edged North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 11-1, in a league match.
The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Cuthbertson edged Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 6-5, in a non-league match.
