Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls (Philadelphia, PA), 73-67 in a non-league game.

With the defeat, Archbishop Ryan moves to 18-10 on the year. The Raiders and ragdolls travel to Radnor (Radnor, PA) to face the Raptors in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 12. The Raptors enter the game with a record of 22-5. Radnor won 63-44 in their recent non-league game against Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA)
