The Chippewa Valley Big Reds basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Utica Chieftains to 55 in the Big Reds non-league victory on Friday.

The Big Reds now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dakota for a non-league contest on Monday, March 11. Chippewa Valley will battle a Cougars team coming off a 47-45 non-league win over Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 18-6.
