In Friday's non-league battle, the host South Aiken Thoroughbreds soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers.

The Thoroughbreds (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Wolfpack come into the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Greenbrier tipped Ware County (Waycross, GA), 9-1, in a league bout.
