March 8, 2024: Plaquemine, LA 70764 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) and the visiting Family Christian Flames (Baton Rouge, LA), witnessed St. John's softball squad prevail over Family Christian by a count of 17-0.
The Eagles now sport a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to French Settlement for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 12. St. John will meet a Lions squad coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Lions record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Family Christian moves to 0-2 on the season. The Flames host Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, March 11. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 6-7. Thibodaux lost 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Brusly (Brusly, LA)
