The Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) baseball the visiting Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX), 11-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Johnson for a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Canyon will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Jordan (Fulshear, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-4.
