Texas High School Baseball - Joshua wallops Azle
March 8, 2025: Joshua, TX 76058 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) and the visiting Azle Hornets (Azle, TX), saw Joshua's baseball team gain a win over Azle by a tally of 10-0.
The Owls (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Wolves enter the 5A Region I District 8 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Mansfield Timberview was overwhelmed by Lumberton (Lumberton, TX), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hornets face the Chisholm Trail Rangers (Fort Worth, TX) in a TCAF Division 2 District 1 battle, on Wednesday, March 12. Azle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Rangers enter the battle with a 3-9 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX).
