Texas High School Baseball - Pearland loses to Barbers Hill
March 8, 2025: Mt. Belvieu, TX 77580 Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX), 3-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Barbers Hill advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX) to battle the Titans in a 5A Region III District 17 match on Monday, March 10. The Titans come into the match with a record of 1-3. Port Arthur Memorial lost 13-0 in their recent non-league match against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX)
The Oilers now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alvin for a 6A Region III District 22 match on Tuesday, March 11. Pearland will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-5.
