Texas High School Baseball - Caney Creek edges Johnson
March 8, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78259 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Caney Creek Panthers baseball team scored a close 5-3 victory over the Johnson Jaguars.
The Panthers (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Hargrave (Huffman, TX). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Hargrave held off Huntsville (Huntsville, TX), 6-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Jaguars face the Brandeis Broncos (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, March 11. Johnson will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Broncos enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX).
