In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Lakewood Lancers baseball team scored a close 2-0 win over the Carson Colts.

The Lancers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA). The Barons go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Fountain Valley by Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
