Cherry Creek Bruins (Greenwood Village, CO) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Fossil Ridge SaberCats (Fort Collins, CO), 11-10 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Cherry Creek moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bruins host Arvada West (Arvada, CO) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, March 10. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The SaberCats now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palisade for a non-league match on Friday, March 14. Fossil Ridge will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
