March 8, 2025: Denison, TX 75020 The Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) baseball trounced the host Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX), 12-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pearce for a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Lake Highlands will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Belton (Belton, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-9.
With the defeat, Denison drops to 4-11 on the year. The Yellow jackets travel to Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 12. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Walnut Grove lost 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX)
