The Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ), 7-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Mountain Lions now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Faith Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 12. Red Mountain will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 4-3 league win over Liberty (Henderson, NV). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Desert Ridge drops to 2-4 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Westwood (Mesa, AZ) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 10. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 6-1.
