The Pioneer Diamondbacks baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Episcopal Knights to 3 in the Diamondbacks non-league win on Saturday.

The Diamondbacks now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial for a 5A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, March 11. Pioneer will play a Wolverines team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-7.

With the defeat, Episcopal drops to 4-4 on the year. The Knights host Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX) to play the Crusaders in a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 8-2.
