Texas High School Baseball - Rockwall edges Georgetown
March 8, 2025: Georgetown, TX 78626 The Rockwall Yellowjackets baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Georgetown Eagles to 2 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Saturday.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 19-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Oak for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Rockwall will play a Hawks team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Highland Park (Dallas, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 6-7.
With the defeat, Georgetown drops to 4-7 on the year. The Eagles host Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 23 test on Wednesday, March 12. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 3-6. Pflugerville Connally lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Lehman (Kyle, TX)
