In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Pieper Warriors baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the Madison Mavericks.

The Warriors (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Antlers go into the 5A Region IV District 26 game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Tivy was overwhelmed by Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX), 16-4, in a non-league game.
