In Saturday's non-league bout, the Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) baseball squad the visiting West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA), by a score of 6-2.

Next up, the Cougars encounter the Vancleave Bulldogs (Vancleave, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 11. Northwest Rankin will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 7-3 record after their 5-3 non-league win over St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS).
