New Mexico High School Basketball - Melrose fells Springer
March 8, 2025: Melrose, NM 88124 The Melrose Buffaloes basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Springer Red Devils to 53 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Buffaloes now have a 23-5 record. They play next when they travel to Maxwell for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 12. Melrose will confront a Bears team coming off a 79-58 non-league win over Mountainair (Mountainair, NM). The Bears record now stands at 22-6.
With the loss, Springer falls to 13-17 on the campaign.
