March 8, 2025: Newport Beach, CA 92625 Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sage Hill advances its record to 4-6 on the season. The Lightning travel to Pacifica Christian (Newport Beach, CA) to face the Tritons in a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. The Tritons go into the test with a record of 1-6. Pacifica Christian lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)
The Monsoons now sport a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norwalk for a Mid-Cities test on Tuesday, March 11. Mayfair will face a Lancers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-5.
