Arizona High School Volleyball - O'Connor can't get by Newport Harbor
March 8, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85083 Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Newport Harbor advances its record to 10-4 on the season. The Sailors host Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA) to face the Sea Kings in a Sunset test on Wednesday, March 12. The Sea Kings go into the test with a record of 6-4. Corona del Mar lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA)
The Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shadow Ridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. O'Connor will face a Stallions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Stallions record now stands at 4-1.
